Truth number 2: His presence is closer than any friend.
Let me start by telling you, God’s presence is the most beautiful thing you will ever experience. It can be experienced tangible or in a personal way that we may have no words how to explain what it like. God’s presence is real and it’s powerful.
He is with you through His presence to guide you through life and navigate you through the thick and thin of this life. You may be in the lowest or the loneliest place in your life, But His presence is not far from you. All we need to do is to invite Him and come have His way.
We may be unqualified in many ways to stand upright. But when we have God and His presence. It has the power to bring change and transform our lives.
Jeremiah 29:13
If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.
Exodus 33:14
TheLordreplied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Moses is faced with an enormous task. He is in charge of leading 1000s of people. Just like you and me Moses too felt unqualified to take this huge responsibility over his shoulder. Moses was surely challenged by this huge task but here is what Moses prayed. He told God those exact words we read in exodus 33:14.
Isn’t it amazing, the bible reminds us of some amazing truth. Let us not take our eyes off this.
God’s presence is found when we search for it.
God’s presence will go with us anywhere and everywhere
God’s presence will give us true rest.
